TISE supports children’s charity on the Isle of Man | TISE

The International Stock Exchange (TISE) has provided a financial contribution to a local charity which works with children and young people on the Isle of Man.

TISE has made a donation of £300 to The Children’s Centre as part of its Corporate & Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy for 2019. The objective was to support a charity which assists local children and provides help during particularly challenging times.

Carolyn Gelling, Head of the Isle of Man Office of The International Stock Exchange Group (TISEG), said: “We are extremely pleased to support The Children’s Centre and its invaluable work for our island community. The Children’s Centre is a charity whose work often goes unseen, yet makes a significant positive impact to the lives of many local children and their families.”

The Children’s Centre has a vision to put children, young people and families first and in doing so, make the Isle of Man a safe and progressive community. It focuses on developing, managing and pioneering a variety of community initiatives and services aimed at enabling children, young people, and families to realise their full potential.

Joff Whitten, Head of The Children’s Centre, said “We are delighted to have received this donation from TISE; donations like this are incredibly valuable. We are an independent Manx charity working with the most vulnerable and at risk children, young people and families living on the island. From a single point of referral we support individuals and families with a variety of needs and issues, encouraging and challenging to help them on their journey. For every £ raised we spend 88p directly on the work we do, and we thank everyone at TISE for their support.”
