TISE is seeking to recruit an Assistant Compliance Officer to join the Compliance Department. The role will ensure the department successfully fulfils its remit through active testing as part of the Compliance Monitoring Programme (“CMP”) and provide relevant advice and training to other business functions, which must all be delivered in line with the Compliance Framework and Manual. In anticipation of further growth and future planned expansion, this is an exciting opportunity to work in capital markets for a locally based company with truly international ambitions.
Duties and responsibilities include the timely completion of CMP testing, in accordance with the agreed compliance workplan; ensuring that CMP test samples and findings are accurately recorded and any issues are escalated to the respective manager for timely resolution; proactively contributing to the continuous improvement of the CMP tests to ensure they remain appropriate and effective; and investigating irregularities and any potential non-compliance issues.
The key competencies for this role include the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines on own initiative, being methodical and organised, and holding excellent communication skills. The successful candidate would also have natural curiosity and a questioning mind-set and be self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team with minimal supervision.
