Business Development Manager, public market – London

TISE is seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager (public market) based in London. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities for our public market, focusing on equity (including investment funds), bonds and digital assets (tokens) and providing support to the Business Development Manager responsible for TISE Private Markets. 

Duties and responsibilities include: 

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities, trends and risks in the equity, bond and digital asset space. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key law firms, institutional investors, asset managers and other key stakeholders. 
  • Design and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business development targets and increase market share. 
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our core offerings and services, including the latest trends and regulatory developments in equity, bonds and digital assets. 
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and pitches to prospective clients, showcasing our value proposition and unique offerings. 
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and research, to align business development efforts with company objectives. 
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decisions. 
  • Provide regular reports on business development activities, progress towards targets, and market insights to senior management. 
  • Attend industry specific presentations and events to increase contacts and disseminate key messages about TISE. 
  • Promote TISE as an attractive future employment opportunity working alongside the Head of HR and other team members. 

The key competencies for this role include a deep understanding of financial markets, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in business development within the financial services industry.
