Project Manager, IT Department – Guernsey

TISE is seeking to recruit a Project Manager to join our IT team based in our Guernsey office. The Project Manager will be joining a dynamic and forward-thinking team and report to the Head of Information Systems. The Project Manager will act as the driving force for development and optimisation of TISE’s business operations.

This role involves coordinating with the efforts of team members and third-party providers to deliver projects within strict deadlines and within budget. The Project Manager will also oversee quality control throughout the project life cycle and ensure that project objectives align with company objectives.

Duties and responsibilities include liaising with business product owners to understand operating processes and needs, defining and developing project scope, goals and deliverables, monitoring project progress, managing project budgets and costs, supporting the implementation of improvements and reporting regularly to key stakeholders to show progress and support decision making.

The key competencies for this role include experience in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, ability to manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, excellent communication skills and a team player who can place their activity within the context of the wider Company. The successful candidate would ideally hold a Project Management professional qualification. Experience in the finance industry and an understanding of markets would also be advantageous.
