Senior Analyst, Market Regulation Department, Guernsey

TISE is seeking to recruit a Senior Analyst to join the Market Regulation Department. This role will report to the Manager in our Market Investigations team and will be focused on supporting all aspects of the Exchange’s market surveillance and enhanced market monitoring activities, investigations, supervisory and enforcement recommendations related to market participants as well as the handling of intelligence. In anticipation of further growth and future planned expansion, this is an exciting opportunity to work in capital markets for a locally based company with truly international ambitions.

Duties and responsibilities include supporting all aspects of market supervision and investigations, supporting market monitoring, analysis, and surveillance activities, managing Active Cases, Watchlist issuers and members and relevant Notable Events and supporting the management of all matters escalated by market operations. In addition, the successful candidate will also help to develop management information, as well as reports for senior management and the Boards.

The key competencies for this role include the ability to exercise good judgement when dealing with partial, ambiguous or complex information, analytical and investigative mindset driven by curiosity and high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will also be required to have a sound knowledge of industry standards and regulations, ideally supported by a relevant industry qualification.
