Phil joined the Board of The International Stock Exchange Authority Limited in February 2024 as an independent Non-Executive Director. He is also a member of the Audit Committee and Risk Committee.

Background, Experience and Skills

Phil has over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry, with a particular focus on investment funds and fiduciary services. He is a Director of a number of listed and unlisted investment companies and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

Having begun his career in London, Phil moved to the ‘big four’, working in Australia and the Channel Islands, before being appointed to a Jersey-based international fiduciary business as the Head of Funds. In 2007 he joined BDO, a globally renowned professional services firm, as lead audit partner of the Jersey firm. During his 16 years in this role, he established a dedicated financial services audit and assurance business and oversaw the division’s growth to become the fifth largest provider of audit services to funds in Jersey. He was also involved in the provision of business advisory and restructuring services, advising his clients on a range of complex matters.
