TISE raises more than £16k for Guernsey Cheshire Home | TISE

The International Stock Exchange (TISE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Miami International Holdings, Inc. (MIAX) (NYSE: MIAX), today announced that its employees raised £16,404 to support the Guernsey Cheshire Home

The Guernsey Cheshire Home, which provides care and opportunity for people in Guernsey living with serious physical disabilities, was chosen by TISE staff as their charity of choice for 2025.

“We are so pleased to help the Guernsey Cheshire Home by raising this significant sum,” said Laura Cornelius, Head of Human Resources at TISE. “It is great to see our team come together through various activities to raise funds for such a worthy cause. I hope that the money raised will benefit the charity in its mission to provide residents with the opportunity to live a life of their own choosing within a friendly and comfortable environment.”

In 2025, the team at TISE volunteered to assist with the Guernsey Cheshire Home’s fundraising initiatives such as a Pancake Day fundraiser at The Town Church. The TISE staff also organised a series of their own activities to raise funds for the charity including raffles, sweepstakes and bake sales, hosted a quiz night and held an afternoon tea for nearly 100 guests. The funds raised during these activities were then matched by TISE.

“We are very grateful for this support from TISE which is a great boost in our efforts to staff and maintain the Home during 2026."

The Guernsey Cheshire Home, which is situated in St Peter Port, Guernsey, is a unique facility that for more than 35 years has provided a home for people who need constant care due to serious physical disabilities such as multiple sclerosis, spinal injury, strokes, motor neurone disease, cerebral palsy, and the effects of accidents. The Guernsey Cheshire Home has eleven long-stay residents and also offers an important lifeline in day care or short stay care for disabled people and a respite for those who look after them.

The funds raised by TISE will enable the charity to redecorate a resident’s bedroom to create a more comfortable and personalised living space, replace hoists and tracking systems in two rooms – improving safety and dignity in care – and purchase new slings for residents, ensuring comfort and reliability in daily support.

“We are very grateful for this support from TISE which is a great boost in our efforts to staff and maintain the Home during 2026,” said Mary Ellen Carter, Chief Executive Officer at the Guernsey Cheshire Home. “It costs over £1.5 million annually to run the Home – excluding the purchase of equipment – and with no direct government funding, we are reliant on fundraising and donations. This is a great way to start the new year and, as always, we hugely appreciate the continued generosity of individuals, businesses, charitable trusts and all our supporters.”

TISE has also made donations to similar charities located in Jersey and London, which house its other office locations.

The staff at TISE have chosen Dementia Friendly Guernsey, a local charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for people affected by the condition and their carers, as their charity of choice for 2026.
