We are delighted to announce that Anderson Whamond has been appointed as Chair of The International Stock Exchange Group Limited.

He has served as Interim Chair of the Board since May 2022 and now has been appointed Group Chair on a permanent basis to succeed Charlie Geffen.

Assisted by a specialist consultancy firm, the Nominations Committee conducted a thorough recruitment process and met with a number of prospective candidates. Having served as a Non-Executive Director of the Company since 2017, the Committee was pleased to invite Anderson to undertake the Chair role on a permanent basis. Anderson, who is based in the Isle of Man, has over 30 years’ experience in the banking and financial sector and is a director of a number of listed and non-listed investment companies.

The Nominations Committee will shortly be commencing a search for an independent Non-Executive Director to provide for the orderly succession of existing Board members and ensure that the Board continues to benefit from Directors with the collective experience, skills and capability to develop and deliver the Group’s strategy.
